Expression Strain: E. coli, BL21(DE3)

Antibiotic: Chloramphenicol at 12.5 µg/mL

Agar Plates: OmniTray or Petri Plate with LB Agar (Lennox)

Plasmid Design: Fluorescent protein genes under control of a constitutive promoter (BBa_J23106), using a strong RBS (BBa_B0034), double terminator (BBa_B0015), and 7x His tag.
Benchling example.

Sequence Optimization: Codon-optimized for E. coli and S. cerevisiae.

Photographs: Taken with an iPhone 17, 395 nm Cut-on Longpass Filter, and 312 nm UV lamp. Exposure, contrast, brightness, saturation, sharpness adjusted as necessary.
